Are you an adult who lives with type 1 diabetes (T1D) – or do you know someone who does?
Australia’s biggest T1D event, Type 1 Summit, is back for 2026! This year, you can attend in person at our beautiful Adelaide venue, or tune in online from anywhere in Australia, on Sunday 26 July.
Our program has been carefully curated to help every adult with T1D live their best life.
All sessions for adults start from 12.45pm Australian Central Standard Time (ACST). See what time that is in your state or territory.
Register to join us online or in Adelaide.

2.10pm – 3pm ACST // How to make your T1D technology work for you
Thinking about switching to diabetes technology? Or maybe you just want to get more out of your current automated insulin delivery (AID) system? You’re not alone.
Join us for an insightful panel discussion to hear firsthand from community members living with T1D who use a range of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors in their everyday lives.
This session will explore what it’s like to use an AID system, how to find the right technology for your lifestyle and goals, and offer practical tips on getting the most out of your devices.
Afternoon tea & closing session
Have an afternoon tea break, followed by our final session of the day as we hear from a panel of T1D community members across different stages of life.Â
Check the time difference for your state or territory for these sessions.
3pm – 3.20pm ACST // Afternoon tea
3.20pm – 4.40pm ACST // Real talk: Honest conversations about life with T1D
Living with T1D can bring a unique set of questions and challenges that change as you get older.
This panel discussion, led by community members sharing their lived experiences, will explore the personal side of living with T1D.
We’ll cover navigating the honeymoon period after diagnosis, relationships and talking about T1D with partners, starting a family and managing T1D throughout pregnancy, as well as how diabetes management can change with age.
Whether you’ve lived with T1D for a while or are newly diagnosed, this session will offer practical advice on thriving with T1D from people who truly understand what it’s like.
Sundowner event
Join us for champagne and canapés as we celebrate our wonderful T1D community.
4:50pm – 5:35pm ACST // Sundowner Session (Adelaide adult attendees only)
For the first time ever, we’re holding an event for adults in attendance in Adelaide. Chat with locals in the T1D community over drinks and canapes at sunset!
